When applying or removing glue, the glue is stretched into fine threads and carried away with the pages/paper, which is known as; Brushing/trailing;. It often appears in the glue pot, glue roller, and page turning position, looking dirty and easily sticking to hands and pages.

Scenes such as image and text stores and fast printing stores with high-frequency page flipping, short orders, and multiple varieties are more sensitive to the opening time and flexibility of the adhesive. Whether to change the adhesive should be judged based on the paper, equipment, and production speed; Adhesive specifically designed for graphic and text stores (such as Sunlife S-393 graphic and text store specific adhesive, see product page for details) is an optional direction for this type of scenario, and it is not necessary to replace it as soon as the wire is drawn. It is recommended to first test it on a small sample machine.
Q: Does drawing indicate poor adhesive quality?
A: Not necessarily. More often than not, the process parameters (temperature, quantity, speed) do not match the opening time of the adhesive; Adjust the parameters first, and then determine if the adhesive is suitable.
Q: Does the higher the temperature, the less wire drawing?
A: Moderate heating within the recommended range usually improves, but excessive heating can cause smoking, aging, and damage to equipment. It is necessary to follow the upper limit of the adhesive type and not blindly heat it up.

What are the environmentally friendly adhesives? Adhesive is any substance that binds two objects together – essentially glue. The objects adhered together by our adhesive are considered as “substrates”. Have you ever made a grilled cheese sandwich? Once melted and cooled, cheese can be considered as a binder that binds two slices of bread (substrate) […]
