EVA hot melt adhesive particles are based on ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, combined with thickening resin and wax, and are the most commonly used category in printing and packaging. They are easy to machine, low-cost, and cool quickly. PA hot melt adhesive particles (polyamide, commonly known as nylon hot melt adhesive) are formed by the condensation of dimer acids and polyamines. The molecular chains contain amide bonds, and have significantly better temperature resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance. They are commonly used in electronics, automobiles, shoe materials, and special composites.

PA has a higher melting point, and the equipment should be able to reach temperatures above 200 ℃; The rubber hose of the old sealing machine has insufficient temperature resistance and will accelerate aging on the hard surface. At the same time, PA and EVA cannot be mixed in the pot. When changing the type, the glue must be thoroughly cleaned, otherwise carbonization will block the gun.
Q: Can we use PA directly for book binding to make it more sturdy?
Answer: It’s not necessary. Books and periodicals will not be exposed to high temperature environments, and the temperature resistance advantage of PA will not be utilized. Instead, it will increase costs and equipment burden, while EVA is more suitable.
Q: Is PA adhesive more environmentally friendly?
