Some hot melt adhesives may encounter problems after long-term use. So how to deal with the problems encountered in hot melt adhesive packaging?
,Hot melt adhesive is non stick:
1、 Is hot melt adhesive tested before production. After long-term storage, the performance of hot melt adhesive is poor, the state is unstable, and it is prone to quality changes, which affects the performance of hot melt adhesive.
2、 The characteristics of hot melt adhesive. Due to insufficient permeability, it can affect the adhesion between books. The state and performance of hot melt adhesive are initially relatively stable, but over time, the page may fail and the adhesive interface may crack.
3、 Whether the production operation is correct. For example, the problem of paper falling off may not necessarily be a performance issue of hot melt adhesive. Before binding, it is necessary to check whether the hot melt adhesive can penetrate the surface of the book or magazine well. If the penetration is not good, it will affect the binding of books and publications. When folding and pressing after gluing, sufficient pressure and pressing time are required, otherwise it will also affect the performance of the hot melt adhesive.
2.Hot melt adhesive particles cannot produce glue:
1、 Has the hot melt adhesive particle been heated for a certain period of time before use? If used once a day, the hot melt adhesive should be preheated in the glue pot for 2 hours.
2、 Although hot melt adhesive particles are easy to use and maintain, they are also very durable. Usually, the shelf life of hot melt adhesive particles is 2 years, so it should be checked whether the hot melt adhesive has exceeded its service life.
