A: Very likely. After exceeding 180 ° C, the thermal decomposition of EVA hot melt adhesive particles accelerates, and the smoke smell increases sharply. First confirm if the glue temperature exceeds the standard before considering changing the model.
Q: Will the low smoke type have lower adhesion than the regular type?
A: I won’t. The formula of the low smoke type has optimized the ratio of resin and tackifier, and the bonding strength is equivalent to that of the ordinary type, but the operating temperature is lower.
