Our common hot melt adhesive can generally stick to wood, paper (white cardboard, kraft paper, silver cardboard, PE coated paper, BOPP coated paper), cloth (non-woven fabric, cotton), glass, acrylic, plastic (PVC, PP, PE, etc.), metal (aluminum alloy, iron plate, stainless steel, etc.).

Easy to stick: wood, white cardboard, kraft paper, non-woven fabric, cotton cloth, glass, acrylic, PE plastic, etc.
Difficult to stick, including BOPP copperplate paper, PP plastic, metal and other materials.
Choose different hot melt adhesives based on different adhesive equipment. If the gluing equipment is a glue gun, then choose to use a hot melt glue stick, which is usually used manually. If the gluing equipment is a glue packing machine, hot melt adhesive granules are selected, which are generally used for carton sealing and pearl cotton bonding in large packaging factories.
Hot melt adhesive applications include: manual DIY, artificial flowers, hair clips, carton sealing, handbags, pearl cotton, air filters, automotive interiors, mattresses, wooden boards, book binding, woodworking, and other fields.
When choosing hot melt adhesive, the following points need to be considered:
1、 What material is bonded.
2、 The curing time required for bonding.
3、 Requirements for the appearance color of hot melt adhesive.
4、 The environmental temperature required for hot melt adhesive itself.
5、 Can hot melt adhesive itself pass testing and certification to support foreign trade exports.
Choose packaging hot melt adhesive, focus on the coreAdhesive material, production line speed, environmental requirements, delivery radiusDifferent scenarios correspond to different factories and adhesive types. Below are clear selection directions based on mainstream scenarios. 1、 Ordinary cardboard box/sealed box (universal EVA adhesive, cost-effectiveness priority) Suitable for: regular cardboard box sealing, cardboard box forming, handbag bonding, […]
The aging of hot melt adhesive is quite common in its application. This phenomenon is mainly caused by the glue heating time being too long or the heating temperature being too high. How to determine if hot melt adhesive has aged? Aging hot melt adhesive may exhibit the following phenomena: 1、 Glue discoloration; 2、 There […]
The drawing and overflow of EVA hot melt adhesive can affect the appearance of packaging, production pace, and material loss. Explain the troubleshooting approach from five aspects: temperature, glue amount, substrate, opening time, and equipment status, to help packaging and composite processing enterprises establish a more reliable glue selection process. Core KeywordsEVA hot melt adhesive, […]
The opening time and solidification time are important specifications for selecting suitable EVA hot melt adhesive for specific applications. Choosing adhesive that meets the specifications will be one of the factors in achieving the required adhesive force. Opening time:Defined as the time it takes to apply adhesive to the surface of a material until it […]
