If it is only used for tanning base leather, the dosage of Seta Sun is 40%-50% of the weight of the grey leather; for fully vegetable-tanned leather and light base leather, the dosage is 20%-35%.

Retanning :Seta Sun is a high-molecular tannin from the bark of the mulberry tree. It can endow leather with good fullness and firm grain surface, and also provide better grinding and embossing properties. The dosage of Seta Sun is between 5% and 30% of the uniform skin weight according to the requirements of the finished grain surface. Seta Sun can be used together with other anionic auxiliaries, such as in retanning, fatliquoring and dyeing: When mixed with Setasyn and Setachem Lines, it can not only provide good fullness and excellent grain firmness, but also obtain other desired properties.

If used as a single tannin in base leather, the recommended dosage is 40-50% of the weight of the leather ash. For fully vegetable-tanned leather and light base leather, the dosage is 25% to 35%. The recommended dosage for retanning is 5-25% of the uniform skin weight.
