A Guangzhou clothing factory was repeatedly returned by e-commerce customers due to the detachment of tags. The hanging tag is easy to loosen when tied with wire and easy to curl when used with adhesive tape. The original process used double-sided tape to attach hang tags, and during the rainy season in southern China, the edges became damp and curled, resulting in a 3% drop rate during warehouse inspections. The factory manager found “Sunlife Hot Melt Adhesive” to seek a spot adhesive solution.
After the renovation, customer complaints about the hang tag have been reduced to zero, and the cost of using adhesive for a single piece is less than a penny, which is actually cheaper than double-sided adhesive.
