Hot melt adhesive is not unfamiliar to cardboard packaging, as it is not only efficient but also cost-effective. Some packaging adhesives, equipment options, and packaging techniques were used when applying hot melt adhesive;. This article helps you understand the technology of hot melt adhesive suitable for your cardboard packaging.

Use 1/8 inch beads approximately 1/2 inch from the edge of the flip cover to create durable cardboard boxes. Do you need extra high intensity? Use double beads. Use a T-shaped nozzle to easily apply double beads. Having a T-shaped nozzle is the most effective way to lay double beads and can provide you with the same results every time. However, if additional strength is required, you can use a standard nozzle and place two beads.
Hot melt adhesive allows you to easily open cardboard boxes through various methods without sacrificing good sealing. These methods can easily reuse cardboard boxes. We recommend using 1/8 “beads to maintain the strength of the cardboard box. You can also use 1/16” beads, but it will reduce the strength of the cardboard box.
The best effect can be achieved by placing 1/8 “beads on the front and 3 sides, or you can lay double beads. For single bead applications on FOL cartons, we found the L nozzle very convenient. If beads are needed, using a T-shaped nozzle is the simplest.
Upgrading your batch dispensing to include hot melt dispensing and stitching systems can save you a lot of money. Traditionally, hot melt adhesive is used to seal packaging with solid line dispensing, but this innovative process allows for a series of point and line dispensing, typically using 50% less adhesive.
The upgrade package can be installed within three hours without the need for new cans or nozzles, and achieves more reliable and durable dispensing.
In the wireless adhesive packaging process of books, the uneven thickness of the adhesive wire is a quality problem frequently encountered by printing factories and graphic and text fast printing factories. One side of the adhesive layer is too thick and overflowing, while the other side is too thin and debonding. This not only makes […]
First, give the conclusion The pages of three-dimensional books and flipped books need to be repeatedly folded, and ordinary books and magazines have hard and brittle rubber particles that break when folded. To stick firmly, one must avoid the four misconceptions of “using ordinary glue, applying too thick, pressing too hard, and not trying to […]
Material Overview PE, PP, PVC, PS, PC, POM, EP, ABS, PA, PMMA, etc. are collectively referred to as plastic materials, also known as polymer materials. They are a type of synthetic material with plasticity made from polymer compounds through different processing methods. Plastic materials have the advantages of lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and good […]
The use of hot melt adhesive requires appropriate preparation and preheating to ensure smooth operation. 1. Glue Add an appropriate amount according to the amount of glue used and the size of the hot melt glue pool. During normal use, maintain a liquid level range of 35% -80% in the sol tank. If the amount […]
