Packaging hot melt adhesiveFor packaging, it is not unfamiliar, not only with high efficiency, but also with high cost-effectiveness. Hot melt adhesive is often used for packaging in cardboard boxes.

Conventional slotted cardboard box (RSC)
Use 1/8 inch beads approximately 1/2 inch from the edge of the flip cover to create durable cardboard boxes. In this case, a T-shaped nozzle can be used to apply double beads. Using a T-shaped nozzle is an effective way to lay double beads and can provide the same results every time. However, if additional strength is required, a standard nozzle can be used and two glue can be placed.
Easy Open Technology on RSC
Hot melt adhesive can be used in various ways to make cardboard boxes easy to open without losing good sealing. These methods can make it easier to reuse cardboard boxes. It is usually recommended to use 1/8 glue to maintain the strength of the cardboard box. You can also use 1/16 glue, but it will reduce the strength of the cardboard box.
Fully Overlapping Carton (FOL)
It can be achieved by placing 1/8 glue on the front and 3 sides, or by laying double glue. For single dispensing applications on FOL cartons, we found that the L nozzle is very convenient. If double-sided adhesive is required, using a T-shaped nozzle is relatively simple.
Hot melt adhesive to save costs
Upgraded batch dispensing, including hot melt dispensing and stitching systems, can save a lot of money. Traditional hot melt adhesives use solid line glue to seal packaging, but this innovative process can use a series of point and line glue, typically using 50% less adhesive.
The reason for the occurrence of wire drawing, uneven spine, or page dropping in the wireless adhesive packaging of graphic and text fast printing stores may not be solely due to the adhesive material itself. The paper coating, adhesive amount, melt temperature, roller state, and cooling time all jointly affect the binding result. This article […]
In the book printing and binding industry, hot melt adhesive is the core auxiliary material that determines the quality, environmental protection level, and compliance of books. Many printing and binding factories encounter these problems: new books that have been left out of the factory for a long time turn yellow and peel off, pages crack, […]
What are the benefits of using hot melt adhesive for packaging? When a business is just getting started, it needs a great deal of originality, courage and the ability to make full use of the things around it. When delivering products to customers, the issue of product packaging comes into play. However, once enterprises make […]
EPE pearl cotton (foamed polyethylene) has a loose texture, poor high temperature resistance, and strong surface inertness, making it a difficult material to bond in the packaging industry. Ordinary hot melt adhesive is prone to problems such as melting through cotton, weak adhesion, low-temperature cracking, high-temperature delamination, pungent odor, and wire drawing affecting the appearance […]
