The bonding strength of hot melt adhesive is closely related to the material of the adhered object. The application of hot melt adhesive will vary for different materials. That’s why hot melt adhesive manufacturers produce different properties and types of hot melt adhesives according to the application needs of different industries.
The adhesive force does not need to be as strong as possible, as long as it is moderate. This is a simple example. For example, when using hot melt adhesive to seal the box, the surface of the box is mostly paper. If the adhesive force is strong after coating, the wetting performance of hot melt adhesive is generally strong. And this requires constantly increasing the temperature of the hot melt adhesive to achieve a certain wetting effect. However, if the hot melt adhesive is heated too much, the glue may also excessively wet the surface of the cardboard box, affecting the appearance of the cardboard box and the bonding effect. So the bonding strength of hot melt adhesive is not necessarily better the stronger.
