Can EVA hot melt adhesive be reused? Hot melt adhesive is widely used in industries such as electronic components, metals, wood, toys, furniture, handicrafts, paper products, textiles, packaging, etc., all of which require hot melt adhesive.

Someone asked before: Can EVA hot melt adhesive be reused? If it can be reused repeatedly, isn’t the economic utility particularly good?
In fact, theoretically, hot melt adhesive can be used one or two more times. However, if used too many times in actual environments, it will definitely affect the effectiveness of hot melt adhesive.
EVA hot melt adhesive generally needs to be heated and melted before use. However, excessive heating can cause the molecular structure of the hot melt adhesive to become unstable, leading to aging and affecting the performance of the hot melt adhesive itself. Therefore, there is an uncertain impact on the bonding effect of hot melt adhesive. Generally speaking, the more heating cycles, the more unstable the hot melt adhesive becomes. Heating can cause molecules to become overly active. There are usually two consequences. 1. The performance of hot melt adhesive is weakened. The second is the appearance of carbides. If the performance continues to weaken and reaches the critical point of carbides, carbides will appear.
Therefore, if it is a material with particularly high requirements for adhesive effect, for safety reasons, it is still necessary to avoid using aging adhesive.
In the rapidly developing binding industry, the requirements for book binding are also increasing day by day. Therefore, many binding factories choose high-quality, non drawing, and high bonding strength hot melt adhesives. High performance hot melt adhesive has also become an important guarantee for the quality of books. For example, Sunlife book hot melt adhesive […]
Using hot melt adhesive particles on the same material surface will provide better quality assurance, as hot melt adhesive is always sprayed on the material surface in a molten state – this helps to generate thermal reactions and increases adhesion compared to adhesives, without using heat during the bonding process. Stable quality provides good adhesion […]
Almost all factories that do book and magazine binding have encountered this frustrating problem: the production line is running, and the glue outlet of the glue binding machine suddenly breaks and is intermittent, or directly blocks the glue without dispensing, resulting in the opening, breaking, and uneven thickness of the glue layer on the books. […]
Three common pits for sealing the heaven and earth lid The sealing of colored box top and bottom lids (top and bottom lids) is a high-frequency process in the packaging industry, but problems such as lid popping, glue line overflow, and skewed sealing often occur on the production line. Many times nothot melt adhesive pelletsThe […]
