Pearl cotton, also known as EPE, is a foamed polyethylene polymer. Pearl cotton has many advantages such as water and moisture resistance, shock resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation, good plasticity, strong toughness, recycling, environmental protection, strong impact resistance, and good chemical resistance.

Features: low density, good flexibility, high recovery rate; Better shock resistance than polystyrene plastic; Independent bubble structure, low surface water absorption rate; Good penetration resistance; Acid, alkali, salt, oil and other organic solvents have excellent aging resistance; It does not flow at high temperatures and does not crack at low temperatures.
Application: High end furniture, household appliances, instruments and meters, craft gifts, wooden products, glass ceramics, building waterproofing, carpet interlayers, sound insulation, travel bags, precision parts, various pipeline insulation and other fields. What to pay attention to when using hot melt adhesive for bonding:
Usage steps:
1. Add hot melt adhesive particles to the melter.
2. Set the temperature of the glue machine and drum.
3. Apply pearl cotton glue onto the drum.
4. Press the pearl cotton to bond.
Precautions:
1、 Set the glue machine temperature and drum temperature correctly according to the technical parameters provided by the manufacturer.
2、 Please use hot melt adhesive particles produced by reputable manufacturers. (For example,Sunlife Hot Melt Adhesive)
3、 Pay attention to safety during the bonding process to avoid being burned by rollers and rubber.
Direct answer: The consumption of adhesive particles is relatively high, and 90% of the problem lies in four areas – excessive setting of adhesive amount, waste caused by improper temperature, equipment leakage, and mismatched selection of adhesive particles. After item by item investigation, most factories can reduce unit adhesive consumption by 15% -30% without sacrificing […]
What exactly is’ drawing ‘on the machine At the moment of glue coating or breaking, a thin wire is pulled out from the end of the sealing or gluing line, which is called “drawing” in the industry.Hot melt adhesive granulesAfter melting, it is a high viscosity hot fluid, and once the temperature, flow rate, and […]
EVA eco-friendly hot melt adhesive is a thermoplastic material composed of EVA, tackifiers such as petroleum and rosin, as well as some bonding AIDS, and is formed in solid cylindrical rods or granular form. It can be melted and applied by using a hot melt gun, sprayer or other glue binding equipment, etc. Because it […]
Misconception 1: Increasing the amount of glue applied can make it stick Many operators find that the BOPP film surface cannot stick, and their first reaction is to add glue. In fact, increasing the adhesive amount from 40g/m ² to 80g/m ² does not increase the bonding strength by less than 20%, but instead causes […]
