Common problems and solutions of wireless glue installation machine

Wireless glue binding machines are widely used in graphic and text fast printing stores. Common problems and solutions in the binding process of glue binding machines include:

1、 Poor quality behind the book core milling
1. If the book core is not neat or placed neatly, it should be ensured that each piece of paper is placed to the bottom.
  2、 When milling the back of the book core, the milling amount is too small. The book support plate should be lowered to a milling depth of 1.5-2.5mm (small milling cutter).
  3、 The position of the milling cutter cover plate is not suitable, and it is not parallel, insufficient or too large when opened. The milling cutter cover plate should be reinstalled or the severely worn cover plate casters should be replaced.
  4、 If the milling cutter is damaged or not sharp, a new milling cutter should be replaced.
  5、 The small pointed blade of the chute is too high or too low, the angle is incorrect, and the small pointed blade is blunt. Adjust the angle of the small pointed blade correctly and replace the small milling cutter.
2、 Uneven glue on the back of the book
1. The gap between the scraper film surrounding the glue and the glue roller is uneven. Adjust it to make it even.
  2、 The position of the scraper board should be adjusted to the correct height if it is too high or too low.
  3、 The rubber roller is jumping and the one-way bearing is worn. Replace the bearing.
  4、 If the rubber roller does not move, it may be due to damage to the one-way bearing. Replace the bearing.
  5、 The glue in the glue pot is not fully melted or the temperature setting of the glue pot is not appropriate.
3、 Poor adhesion of side glue
1. If there is too much or too little side glue, adjust the gap between the glue roller and the scraper to 0.5-0.8mm.
2. If there is too much or too little side glue, adjust the height of the scraper plate.
  3、 Check if the rubber roller does not rotate or rotates flexibly.
4、 Poor sealing
1. The cover indentation is misaligned, and it should be ensured that the indentation is correct.
  2、 The cover is skewed, and the cover should be placed properly. The sides of the positioning pins and magnets on both sides should be tightly attached to the cover.
  3、 The cover itself is uneven or cut unevenly.
5、 Poor package quality
1. One end of the book is flat and the other end is curved. The clamping force of the book core clamp (trolley) is insufficient, resulting in the overall tilting and displacement of the book core during milling. Adjust the book core clamp.
  2、 Check if the book slide is flat and if it is lifted or pressed onto the table after tightening. If so, remove the book slide board and apply compensating tape on its inner side to eliminate this phenomenon.
  3、 The book is straight on one side and curved on the other, with the clamp plate tightly and loosely wrapped around the desk, and the position of the clamp plate is calibrated.
  4、 The wrinkling of the book back may be due to the thin cover or poor milling of the book core.
  5、 Wrinkles on the back of the book may be due to excessive pressure on the clamp or the packaging tray. It is important to carefully inspect and eliminate any issues.
6、 Book delamination and loose pages
1. The milling depth of the book core is not sufficient, and the pages are not completely milled into a single page, causing book delamination and loose pages. The milling depth should be increased.
  2、 The temperature of the hot melt adhesive is too low, causing poor flow and permeability of the adhesive, resulting in book delamination and loose pages. The temperature of the hot melt adhesive should be raised to 160-170 degrees Celsius.
  3、 If the hot melt adhesive on the back of a book is too thin and causes the book to peel off or scatter, the thickness of the back adhesive should be controlled, generally between 0.6-2mm. 4. Improper use of the hot melt adhesive model can cause the book to peel off or scatter, and a hot melt adhesive that matches the model, season, and paper should be selected.
  5、 If the paper inside the book block is too thick, covered with film, or not glued at all, it cannot be used for wireless adhesive packaging.
7、 The book back is not square
1. Use a non sharp milling back knife to mill the back, causing the book back to be square. Replace the sharp milling back knife.
  2、 Uneven application of adhesive on the back of the book can cause the back to be uneven. The adhesive mechanism should be adjusted to ensure even application of adhesive on the back of the book.
  3、 Improper support and shaping mechanism may cause the book back to be irregular, and the support and shaping mechanism should be adjusted.
