When maintaining high-performance operation of the hot melt adhesive machine, you can take many measures to reduce downtime and improve system performance. Please remember that downtime equals production loss.

1) Apply hot melt adhesive at the correct temperature. Using the correct settings can avoid many troubles. You may also want to try using a metallocene hot melt that can melt very cleanly, reducing accumulation and carbonization.
2) Regularly flushing the hot melt system, including the hot melt hose, not only helps maintain the hot melt equipment, but also extends the service life of the hot melt hose and hot melt gun.
3) There is nothing worse than waiting for parts for a long time to prepare spare parts for the hot melt system. These spare parts include glue gun nozzles, glue gun heating modules, hoses, and air filters. This mainly depends on the frequency of use.
4) Make sure to keep the lid on the hot melt machine closed, as this will eliminate the entry of debris. We open the lid to facilitate frequent addition of hot melt adhesive, but the presence of foreign objects in the system may cause multiple problems, not only with the glue furnace, but also with hoses and glue guns or nozzles.
5) Ensure to minimize idle time as much as possible during work. Long term high temperature without using the machine can lead to scaling and carbonization of the hot melt adhesive machine.
